First welcome to the Forum Maha-Saktih.

I thank you Maha-Saktih for some thoughts as to how we can embrace the teachings of Krishna. I personally see that the world does needs us to turn towards the pure teachings of Krishna, teachings that will help us find the oneness of humanity. I personally see that these teachings have been brought by Krishna and other Messengers from God.

Practicing good virtues and morals, keeping our bodies and minds clean, nourished and eating the right foods both materially and spiritually is what the world does needs again.

Stay well stay happy. Regards Tony

General Discussion / Here is Practical Explanation ...
Last post by Maha-Saktih - Dec 15, 2023, 08:39 PM
Practical Explanation ( For Example ) :- `1st of all can you tell me every single seconds detail from that time when you born ?? ( i need every seconds detail ?? that what- what you have thought and done on every single second )

can you tell me every single detail of your `1 cheapest Minute Or your whole hour, day, week, month, year or your whole life ??

if you are not able to tell me about this life then what proof do you have that you didn't forget your past ? and that you will not forget this present life in the future ?

that is Fact that Supreme Lord Krishna exists but we posses no such intelligence to understand him.
there is also next life. and i already proved you that no scientist, no politician, no so-called intelligent man in this world is able to understand this Truth. cuz they are imagining. and you cannot imagine what is god, who is god, what is after life etc.
_______
for example :Your father existed before your birth. you cannot say that before your birth your father don,t exists.

So you have to ask from mother, "Who is my father?" And if she says, "This gentleman is your father," then it is all right. It is easy.
Otherwise, if you makes research, "Who is my father?" go on searching for life; you'll never find your father.

( now maybe...maybe you will say that i will search my father from D.N.A, or i will prove it by photo's, or many other thing's which i will get from my mother and prove it that who is my Real father.{ So you have to believe the authority. who is that authority ? she is your mother. you cannot claim of any photo's, D.N.A or many other things without authority ( or ur mother ).

if you will show D.N.A, photo's, and many other proofs from other women then your mother. then what is use of those proofs ??} )

same you have to follow real authority. "Whatever You have spoken, I accept it," Then there is no difficulty. And You are accepted by Devala, Narada, Vyasa, and You are speaking Yourself, and later on, all the acaryas have accepted. Then I'll follow.
I'll have to follow great personalities. The same reason mother says, this gentleman is my father. That's all. Finish business. Where is the necessity of making research? All authorities accept Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. You accept it; then your searching after God is finished.

Why should you waste your time?
_______
all that is you need is to hear from authority ( same like mother ). and i heard this truth from authority " Srila Prabhupada " he is my spiritual master.
im not talking these all things from my own.
___________

in this world no `1 can be Peace full. this is all along Fact.

cuz we all are suffering in this world 4 Problems which are Disease, Old age, Death, and Birth after Birth.

tell me are you really happy ?? you can,t be happy if you will ignore these 4 main problem. then still you will be Forced by Nature.
___________________

if you really want to be happy then follow these 6 Things which are No illicit s.ex, No g.ambling, No d.rugs ( No tea & coffee ), No meat-eating ( No onion & garlic's )

5th thing is whatever you eat `1st offer it to Supreme Lord Krishna. ( if you know it what is Guru parama-para then offer them food not direct Supreme Lord Krishna )

and 6th " Main Thing " is you have to Chant " hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare ".
_______________________________
If your not able to follow these 4 things no illicit s.ex, no g.ambling, no d.rugs, no meat-eating then don,t worry but chanting of this holy name ( Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra ) is very-very and very important.

Chant " hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare " and be happy.

if you still don,t believe on me then chant any other name for 5 Min's and chant this holy name for 5 Min's and you will see effect. i promise you it works And chanting at least 16 rounds ( each round of 108 beads ) of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra daily.
____________
Here is no Question of Holy Books quotes, Personal Experiences, Faith or Belief. i accept that Sometimes Faith is also Blind. Here is already Practical explanation which already proved that every`1 else in this world is nothing more then Busy Foolish and totally idiot.
_________________________
Source(s):
every `1 is already Blind in this world and if you will follow another Blind then you both will fall in hole. so try to follow that person who have Spiritual Eyes who can Guide you on Actual Right Path. ( my Authority & Guide is my Spiritual Master " Srila Prabhupada " )
_____________
if you want to see Actual Purpose of human life then see this link : ( triple w ( d . o . t ) asitis ( d . o . t ) c . o . m {Bookmark it })
read it complete. ( i promise only readers of this book that they { he/she } will get every single answer which they want to know about why im in this material world, who im, what will happen after this life, what is best thing which will make Human Life Perfect, and what is perfection of Human Life. ) purpose of human life is not to live like animal cuz every`1 at present time doing 4 thing which are sleeping, eating, s.ex & fear. purpose of human life is to become freed from Birth after birth, Old Age, Disease, and Death.

Prophecy Fulfilled / The greater Covernants of God
Last post by Tony Bristow-Stagg - Dec 05, 2023, 04:36 AM
God's promises to humanity are not forgotten, the world is heading towards a lesser peace that will in  time become the Most Great Peace. It is a fulfillment of God's Covernants' to all humanity.

In the Bible we have been guided to an age where the earth is but one country and mankind is its citizens, we can no longer be divided, we must establish the oneness of humanity.

The Noahic Covenant
Genesis 9, this is a covenant God establishes with Noah after the flood in which he resets and renews the blessings of creation, reaffirming God's image in humanity and the work of dominion. This covenant promises the preservation of humanity and provides for the restraint of human evil and violence.

The Abrahamic Covenant
Genesis 12 and 15. This is the most central to the biblical story. In it, God promises Abraham a land, descendants and blessing. This blessing promised to Abraham would extend through him to all the peoples of the earth.

The Mosaic Covenant
Exodus 19 and 24. This is the covenant God establishes with the people of Israel at Mt. Sinai after he led them out of Egyptian slavery. With it, God supplies the Law that is meant to govern and shape the people of Israel in the Promised Land. This Law was not a means of salvation but would distinguish the people from the surrounding nations as a special kingdom of priests (Exodus 19:1-7). This covenant was conditional and defined blessings and curses based on obedience or disobedience (see Deuteronomy 28-29).

The Baha'i Universal House of Justice on 23 March 1975 offered this,

"A Covenant in the religious sense is a binding agreement between God and man, whereby God requires of man certain behaviour in return for which He guarantees certain blessings, or whereby He gives man certain bounties in return for which He takes from those who accept them an undertaking to behave in a certain way." (The Covenant compilation).

In this age we are witnessing the culmination of the Noahic, Abrahamic and Mosaic Covernants in the realisation of the Oneness of God and the Oneness of humanity.

"This is the Day in which God's most excellent favours have been poured out upon men, the Day in which His most mighty grace hath been infused into all created things. It is incumbent upon all the peoples of the world to reconcile their differences, and, with perfect unity and peace, abide beneath the shadow of the Tree of His care and loving-kindness. It behoveth them to cleave to whatsoever will, in this Day, be conducive to the exaltation of their stations, and to the promotion of their best interests...." (Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá'u'lláh)

"...That all nations should become one in faith and all men as brothers; that the bonds of affection and unity between the sons of men should be strengthened; that diversity of religion should cease, and differences of race be annulled—what harm is there in this?... Yet so it shall be; these fruitless strifes, these ruinous wars shall pass away, and the "Most Great Peace" shall come.... Do not you in Europe need this also? Is not this that which Christ foretold?..." (Words spoken to E. G. Browne, from his pen portrait of Bahá'u'lláh)

Abdul'Baha / Re: Darwinian Evolution
Last post by Tony Bristow-Stagg - Oct 19, 2023, 04:46 PM
Quote from: jambun on Oct 20, 2022, 12:37 AMIt might sound as though I've got it all worked out but as a Baha'i I am stumped. Can anyone address this problem?

Personally I think a new approach is needed. The progress of humanity will have to let go of some older theories and Darwinism is most lokely one of those that need to be re-thought.

Science makes new discoveries every day. Baha'u'llah offers civilization is far, far older than we know. We are also not the only creatures in this creation that can know and Love God. There are worlds other than this world and all of it is evolving.

We  an gain an understanding of evolution by the process of birth.Humans are given a soul at conception, that Soul has all the potential, yet it will be a while before it is born, years of maturity and education will be required before that soul can make rational choices relative to their Nature and Nurture and their ability to connect with the Spirit that is the source of our lives.

Baha'i Holy Days / Model Election Process
Last post by Tony Bristow-Stagg - Apr 30, 2023, 10:48 AM
The 13th Convention for election of the Baha'i Universal House of Justice has now been completed. The process is a model for any future world legislative that will look after the affairs of all humanity, who will be elected to represent all the Nations. The boundaries of Nations will be set, minority Nations will have a greater representation per capita to ensure they have a voice in the legislative.

This is the video.

General Discussion / Anzac Day Australians
Last post by Tony Bristow-Stagg - Apr 25, 2023, 07:30 AM
The Anzac Dawn service was well attended in Normanton this morning 26th April 2023. A befitting service was delivered in a nice cool morning as the light dawned on the horizon to the East.

I would like to offer thoughts as to the prayer offered at this mornings service, the Lords Prayer.

"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever.

Amen."

I see It is this "Will" that the many have died for, a desire to see the world live together as one human race, free of prejudices, full of virtue and morals. All joined together under One God in One kingdom containing, earth, all creation and all the heavens".

As a Baha'i, I see that we can commemorate the memory of all those that have fallen in wars, conflicts and by the hand of tyranny, who's purpose was to give us a better future, by embracing the fulfilment of the Lord's Prayer, which is the Message of Baha'u'llah.

May peace and unity be our aim, in memory of all that have given their life for a better future.

"Lest we Forget!"

The issue of retirement from work has become part of the economic crisis we face in this age.

The Baha'i Writings provide guidance for us to consider with this subject. Personally I see it is a bounty to be able to work as long as we can.

This quote is how I see work, work is a way to serve your community. When you undertake your work in a trustworthy and truthful manner, with the aim to serve both your family, friends, community and the world economic structure, then work becomes part of our Faith and devotion to God.

These are some quotes from Abdul'baha.

"Bahá'u'lláh has even said that occupation and labor are devotion. All humanity must obtain a livelihood by sweat of the brow and bodily exertion, at the same time seeking to lift the burden of others, striving to be the source of comfort to souls and facilitating the means of living. This in itself is devotion to God. Bahá'u'lláh has thereby encouraged action and stimulated service. But the energies of the heart must not be attached to these things; the soul must not be completely occupied with them. Though the mind is busy, the heart must be attracted toward the Kingdom of God in order that the virtues of humanity may be attained from every direction and source." 'Abdu'l-Bahá, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 186

"Every person must have an occupation, a trade or a craft, so that he may carry other people's burdens, and not himself be a burden to others."

'Abdu'l-Bahá, The Compilation of Compilations vol. I, p. 3

If we are unable to work, that has been allowed for, a sum will be put aside to help those in need.

The key is that we have to realise that no matter what we face, we need to try to contribute to welfare, this is an act of selflessness, part of a path we walk to find true worship of God.

"With reference to Bahá'u'lláh's command concerning the engagement of the believers in some sort of profession: the Teachings are most emphatic on this matter, particularly the statement in the Aqdas to this effect which makes it quite clear that idle people who lack the desire to work can have no place in the new World Order. As a corollary of this principle, Bahá'u'lláh further states that mendicity should not only be discouraged but entirely wiped out from the face of society. It is the duty of those who are in charge of the organization of society to give every individual the opportunity of acquiring the necessary talent in some kind of profession, and also the means of utilizing such a talent, both for its own sake and for the sake of earning the means of his livelihood. Every individual, no matter how handicapped and limited he may be, is under the obligation of engaging in some work or profession, for work, specially when performed in the spirit of service, is according to Bahá'u'lláh a form of worship. It has not only a utilitarian purpose, but has a value in itself, because it draws us nearer to God, and enables us to better grasp His purpose for us in this world. It is obvious, therefore, that the inheritance of wealth cannot make anyone immune from daily work." Shoghi Effendi, Principles of Bahá'í Administration, p. 12-13

This video gives us food for thought. Regards Tony
